Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Margaret-Ann Carter on being named the new Weekday Morning News Anchor at WHNS (FOX) in Greenville, SC (Market #38). It’s a 54 market jump for Margaret-Ann who comes to the Palmetto State from WJTV (CBS) in Jackson, MS (Market #92). While at WJTV, Margaret-Ann was originally hired as the Weekend Morning News Anchor/Reporter. She was then promoted to the 4 PM Weekday News Anchor/Reporter position.
Before making the move to Mississippi, Margaret-Ann was a News Reporter/Anchor for WJBF (ABC) in Augusta, GA. While at WJBF, Margaret-Ann traveled back to her hometown of Charleston (SC) to report on the Charleston Massacre where nine people were shot and killed inside Mother Emanuel AME Church.
Margaret-Ann graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Criminal Justice. While in college, she interned for WSB (ABC) in Atlanta, GA. #TeamCBK
