Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Katie Garch on joining the Spectrum News 13 weather team in Orlando, FL (market #15) as the weekend morning meteorologist. It’s an 84 market jump for Katie who spent the previous two years working as a meteorologist for WAPT, the ABC affiliate in Jackson, MS (market #99). While in Jackson, Katie covered a number of major severe weather storms, including Hurricane Helene in September 2024.
The move to Orlando marks a return for Katie to her home state of Florida. Katie is a West Palm Beach native and she is a proud Florida State University graduate. While in college, Katie interned at WPBF in West Palm Beach, FL. #TeamCBK
