The Alabama Broadcasters Association announced its 2016 award winners and WIAT Sports Anchor/Reporter Chris Renkel won the “Judges Award of Merit” in Sports Reporting.
Chris received an ABBY for his work on two feature stories: Court of College Football and Auburn University kicker Daniel Carlson.
