Congratulations to CBK Media Management Client Robyn King on becoming a Meteorologist at Spectrum News Ohio in Columbus (Market #34). Robyn’s forecasts will be seen throughout the state as Spectrum News Ohio launches its brand new station.

Prior to making the move back to her home state, Robyn made a 114 market jump to become the Weekday Morning Meteorologist/Traffic Anchor at KWTV, the CBS affiliate in Oklahoma City, OK. Robyn’s professional television career started in Terre Haute, IN where she was the Weekday Morning Meteorologist for WTWO (NBC).

A Cincinnati native, Robyn graduated from the University of South Alabama and she received the prestigious Doctor Bill Williams Endowment Scholarship in 2013. While in school, completed two valuable weather internships at WKRC (CBS-Cincinnati, OH) and WKRG (CBS-Mobile, AL). In the spring of 2017,  Robyn earned a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal from the American Meteorological Society. #TeamCBK

  1. Robyn, it is such a pleasure to watch your weather news every morning, or at least when you are on. I must say that you did a terrific job a couple weeks ago on the Sunday when the weather was so bad in Ohio. That is the day when the severe Tornado went through Shelby and did so much damage. Am sure all the people in Cambridge enjoy your broadcast as much as I do. Thanks again and keep up the great service.
