Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Taylor Winkel on making the move to a top-15 market and joining KCPQ (FOX) as the “Good Day Seattle” Weekend Morning News Co-Anchor. Taylor will also report weekdays for “Good Day Seattle”.
Taylor spent the previous three years working as the Weekday Morning News Co-Anchor for KRNV (NBC) in Reno, NV. She moved to Reno when the country was locking down in 2020 due to Covid. Before Reno, Taylor worked three years as the Weekend News Anchor/Reporter at KRGV (ABC) in Weslaco, TX. While at KRGV, Taylor received a Lone Star Emmy Award for Best Weekend Newscast. The Lone Star Emmy Chapter recognized the newscast Taylor anchored that focused on the impact of Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Prior to joining KRGV in April 2017, Taylor was a Weekend News Anchor/Reporter at KECI (NBC) in Missoula, MT.
Taylor’s move to KCPQ is a homecoming. Taylor is a Seattle native and she earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Washington. #TeamCBK
