Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Kevin Jacobs on joining the WTKR (CBS) weather team in Norfolk, VA (Market #42) as the Weekend Morning Meteorologist. It’s a 55 market jump for Kevin who previously worked at WPDE (ABC ) in Myrtle Beach, SC (Market #97).
A Myrtle Beach area native, Kevin got his first full-time meteorologist job at WOAY in Oak Hill, WV. From there, Kevin moved to WAFF in Huntsville, AL where he was the Weekend Morning/Weekday Noon Meteorologist for two years.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina. He then went onto Mississippi State where he got his degree in Bachelor of Science in Geosciences, Meteorology. #TeamCBK
