Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Chris Frye on being named 10 and 11 PM News Anchor at WOIO in Cleveland, OH. The Emmy Award winning journalist will also continue to anchor the 4 and 5 PM newscasts, along with specialty reporting. Chris first joined the WOIO news team in 2019 as a News Anchor/Reporter.
Prior to Cleveland, Chris was the Weekday Morning News Anchor in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Before sliding into the news anchor chair, Chris was a popular Sports Anchor/Reporter for nine years in several markets in Arkansas, Kansas, Alabama and Illinois.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, with a degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. He’s a proud member of lota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated and is married with four children. #TeamCBK
