Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Tim Schmidt on joining the KMTV (CBS) news team in Omaha, NE as a Weekday Evening Meteorologist. Tim spent the previous eight years at KOMU (NBC) in Columbia, MO as the Weekday Morning Meteorologist.
Tim’s broadcast career in meteorology began as an intern at KOMU in 2013. He was promoted to Weekday Morning Meteorologist in the summer of 2015. Tim graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Soils, Environmental & Atmospheric Science and he is a proud member of the National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society.
Tim has had a fascination with weather ever since he was a young boy and his favorite experience was covering the Great American Eclipse in 2018. #TeamCBK
