Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Elizabeth Worthington on joining the WMAR (ABC) team in Baltimore, MD as a News Reporter. Elizabeth previously worked in Scranton, PA as a News Reporter/Anchor at WNEP (ABC). While working at WNEP, Elizabeth also turned a number of investigative stories. One of her best pieces focused on a series of reports where Elizabeth talked to concerned owners of vacant properties in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area who saw their electric bills skyrocket for no reason.
Prior to making the move to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre market, Elizabeth got her start in television news as a News Anchor/Reporter at WETM (NBC) in Elmira, NY. A Philadelphia native, Elizabeth is a proud graduate of Bucknell University. Even though Bucknell did not offer journalism courses, Elizabeth’s passion for journalism grew when she interned at Philadelphia Magazine.
When Elizabeth isn’t reporting news stories, she loves to go to the Jersey shore with family and friends. She also loves rooting on her favorite Philadelphia sports teams. #TeamCBK
