Johnathon joins WKRC (CBS) in Cincinnati (market #37) as a Weekday News Reporter. He previously worked at WJAC (NBC) in Johnstown, PA (market #112) as a Weekday Morning News Anchor/Reporter.
In his two years at WJAC, Johnathon covered major national stories for Sinclair Broadcast Group. Shortly after the assassination attempt on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, PA, he reported live to provide late-breaking updates for Sinclair stations nationwide. He was also among the top reporters covering the arrest and pre-trial hearings of Luigi Mangione in Altoona, PA, and New York City, delivering in-depth live coverage across the Sinclair network. An award-winning journalist, Johnathon received Keystone Media Awards for both his investigative reporting and anchoring during his time at WJAC.
Before WJAC, Johnathon worked behind the scenes at WPIX in New York City, earning multiple Emmy nominations. In 2023, he pitched and produced the Emmy Award-winning “Colonia Cancer Cluster” story. He can also be heard by millions on weekends anchoring radio news updates for 710 WOR in New York City.
A Woodbridge, NJ native, Johnathon has strong ties to Cincinnati as a proud Xavier University graduate and former Musketeers mascot. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and supporting his favorite New York sports teams. #TeamCBK
