Congratulations to CBK Media Management client Kellie Brown on being named Weekday Evening News Anchor at WGMB (FOX) in Baton Rouge, LA. Since 2016, Kellie has been the popular Traffic Anchor/Reporter/News Anchor at WDSU (NBC) in New Orleans, LA. Kellie was a versatile team player at WDSU, covering severe weather and reporting on breaking news. She even once broadcasted live from a Zulu float.

A New Orleans native, Kellie’s broadcasting career began in 2014 as a Multimedia Journalist at KLFY (CBS) in Lafayette, LA. While at KLFY, Kellie was part of the news team coverage of the Lafayette Grand Theatre shooting. A proud graduate of Dillard University, Kellie gained valuable experience in college interning at WDSU.

When Kellie is not at work, she enjoys reading books and sharpening her culinary skills. #TeamCBK

  1. This morning, I thought out loud, Kellie has been absent from this morning show for far too long. So I googled what she might be up to these days. Lo and behold… KELLIE IS ANCHORING EVENING NEWS IN BR! Congratulations Kellie. We already miss you. All the best to you as you make your career journey.

    1. Yes I also had the same thought; “you know I have not seen Kellie on the news lately; is she working from home because of the covid19”? So I performed a search and found she had a promotion to another station. Congratulations to you Kellie be well.
