Congratulations to client Kyle Hanson on making the move to a top-15 market and joining the Spectrum Bay News 9 team in Tampa, FL as a Meteorologist.
Kyle spent the previous three years as the Weekday Morning Meteorologist for WPMI (NBC) in Mobile, AL. Prior to WPMI, Kyle worked as a Weekend Meteorologist for KVIA (ABC) in El Paso, TX. Before starting his professional broadcasting career at KVIA, Kyle earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Meteorology from North Carolina State University. Kyle was involved in a number of activities at NC State and he was Vice President of the broadcast meteorology club.
While in school, Kyle gained valuable experience as a meteorology intern for WHDH in Boston. A native of Boston, Kyle is a diehard fan of all Boston sports teams. When he’s not cheering on his Boston teams, you’ll find Kyle on a golf course or hiking on a trail. #TeamCBK
